USUE entered RUR -2022

May 11, 2022, the Round University Rankings Agency published the World University Ranking-2022, in which Ural State University of Economics was included for the second year in a row. In 2022, Ural State University of Economics ranked 876th in the world and 85th in Russia

Round University Rankings is the first global ranking of Russian-origin universities, compiled annually by RUR Rankings Agenc based on raw data provided by the international company Thomson Reuters (Clarivate Analytics), the owner of the database of Web of Science publications. This year, 1032 universities from 80 countries of the world were covered by the project.

RUR Rankings is designed as an evaluation system aimed to provide sufficient information about university performance to address stakeholder’s personal tasks: students, academic community, university management, and policymakers.

The evaluation of institution activities is carried out by 20 unique indicators across 4 key areas of university missions, which in turn form separate corresponding rankings:

1. Teaching (Teaching Ranking)
2. Research (Research Ranking)
3. International diversity (International Diversity Ranking)
4. Financial sustainability (Financial Sustainability Ranking)

Just as last year, Ural State University of Economics showed good results and took 61st place in Russia in Research Ranking 2022, 81st in Russia in Financial Sustainability Ranking 2022, and 85th in Teaching Ranking 2022, entering 75% of top national universities in these areas.
