USUE has won ERASMUS + GRANT

In 2017, USUE, as part of a consortium of 11 European, Russian and Chinese universities, won an Erasmus + grant. The prestigious European grant is aimed at developing a system of pedagogical training for teachers of higher education in Russia and China.

The project is headed by the Dresden University of Technology. The project was launched in Germany early March 2018. Now the stage of the program implementation is coming. It provides for the establishment of centers of excellence for academic staff in the partner universities of Russia and China.

«Universities teachers are area specialists, who as a rule do not have sufficient pedagogical training. The project is designed to give universities an idea of how the Bologna education system we are now following works,» Marina Vidrevich, associate professor of the Department of Public and Municipal Administration, coordinator of the Erasmus + project, said.

In 2018, it is planned to develop methodological support. USUE participates in this development and is preparing for the functioning of training centers to be launched in 2019. On their basis, the faculty members will be able to complete an internship and teach abroad at a partner university.
