“In the spirit of traditions for the sake of new victories”

Ural State University of Economics won about 8 million rubles in the national competition of youth projects for higher education institutions, organized by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). USUE became the only university in the Sverdlovsk region to receive grant support in 2026.

Our university presented a comprehensive program, “URAL YOUTH: IN THE SPIRIT OF TRADITIONS FOR THE SAKE OF NEW VICTORIES,” and received support for its projects for the next two years.

This year, we plan to implement an educational project to develop mentoring “I Am a Mentor” Academy, a forum “Business Battle for Young Entrepreneurs”, and an off-site educational intensive course “School of Activism - 2026.”

In 2027, Ural State University of Economics will host the regional paramilitary sports games “DOSAAF Day,” an adaptation project “Welcome to the Urals,” and a festival of youth volunteer organizations “Stimul.”

“The university is conducting comprehensive work in the areas of educational activities and patriotic education. We collaborate with the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. USUE acting rector Yakov Silin noted, “Rosmolodezh gave a high appraisal to the projects we had presented.”

The competition is held every year for higher education institutions in the Russian Federation. Universities submit their two-year youth policy development program, which includes projects aimed at shaping a youth policy ecosystem at universities, including student projects, ideas, and initiatives to cultivate patriotic and socially responsible individuals, as well as realizing each individual’s potential and developing his talents.
