The formation of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Ural Federal District was discussed in Yekaterinburg

On behalf of the Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Ural Federal District, Deputy Plenipotentiary Alexander Moiseev held a meeting on the establishment of the Council of young scientists and specialists of the Ural Federal District. The meeting was attended by Chair of the USUE Council of young scientists Olga Ergunova.

The Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Ural Federal District is created to ensure interaction between federal and regional government bodies, scientific, educational and other organizations on issues of youth policy in the scientific and educational sphere, and personnel support for the development of innovative economy.

The Minister of Industry and Science of the Sverdlovsk Region Sergey Perestoronin and chief federal inspector for the Sverdlovsk region of the Executive Office of the  Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Ural Federal District Andrey Berezovsky discussed with young scientists of the Sverdlovsk region an opportunity to find talented young people and build a successful career in the field of science, technology and innovation to ensure the development of the country's intellectual potential.

At present, in the Ural Federal District, there exist councils of young scientists and specialists of higher educational institutions (78 councils), scientific institutions of the Russian Academy of Sciences (55 councils), those of industrial enterprises (39 councils) and enterprises of the military-industrial complex.
