USUE offers best practices in the country
The Regional Center for Financial Literacy (RCFL) of the Sverdlovsk region, operating under USUE, offered practices of financial literacy recognized as the best at the federal level.
The Research Financial Institute of the Ministry of Finance of Russia has compiled a list of 143 best projects from 75 regions of Russia to improve financial literacy to the public. Two projects from the list were developed by the RCFL of the Sverdlovsk region and USUE teachers.
“The first format is a quiz quest. Students should answer questions as quickly as possible through a special application for smartphones,” Alyona Obolenskaya, director of the center, explains. “The second format is a series of practical trainings for teachers and municipal officers in cities. Having mastered the knowledge, they can further ‘run it up the chain’ to adults and children.”
The compilers of the catalog emphasize that the list includes practices that have proven their mettle and effectiveness, and call for their use in awareness-building throughout the country. You can read the full list of best practices HERE.
