USUE hosted round table with a Chinese delegation

August 1, a round table was held at USUE, which was attended by representatives of the Institute of Continuing Education of Ural State University of Economics, its strategic partners and representatives of Chinese companies. The topic of the meeting was “From industrial tourism to production management.”

The delegation from China included both small business officials and major entrepreneurs. For example, Wang Kunjin is the director of the Guangdong LINA Industrial Company, and Wang Haibin is the general director of the Tangshan Young Entrepreneurs Association.

“Our group of entrepreneurs, who arrived from China with this express purpose, would like to discuss plans for cooperation with you. We are also ready to tell you about our capabilities,” shared the President of Ural Center of  International Partnership Zhao Baojun. “I am very glad that I got acquainted with Ural State University of Economics. We will try to present all our best capabilities to bring advanced Chinese technologies here and attract Chinese capital, to do everything possible to develop our relations.”

The round table was moderated by Elina Zakirova, director of the USUE Institute of Continuing Education. The expert presented the university to the Chinese delegation, and proposed specific areas and projects that partners can now join. These include training in Business Russian Language and Head of Sewing Production programs, participation in the project Industrial Tourism - Industrial Management, and undertaking a master's degree, including online mode.

Understanding the significance of cooperation, the USUE representatives invited guests from China to the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, which is held at the university every spring.

Among the speakers at the round table there were experts and representatives of companies – strategic partners of the USUE Institute of Continuing Education. Among them are Ural Center for International Partnership, business magazine PEOPLE , AK BARS bank, and some others. During the meeting, it was explained that different organizations could be useful in the process of cooperation between China and Ural State University of Economics. For example, Ravil Bikbov, academician of the International Humanitarian Academy "Europe-Asia", taking into account his professional experience, offered himself as a candidate for a consultant.

“I was pleased to accept the invitation to today’s meeting,” Ravil Zufarovich shared. “ I like when a round table turns into a platform for brainstorming. Besides, I would like to note that USUE is an excellent choice for this event and further cooperation.”

At the end of the meeting, both parties agreed to continue the dialogue and develop possible options for further partnership between Ural State University of Economics and China.

Ural State University of Economics is actively developing international cooperation. Among the university's long-standing partners is the People's Republic of China.
