Important meeting

Rector of Ural State University of Economics, Yakov Silin, visited the Belarusian State Economic University, where he met with the BSEU rector, Alexey Egorov, and the university lecturers. The meeting focused on developing long-term cooperation between the universities.

For the fourth year running, the Belarusian State Economic University is a co-organizer of and venue for the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum. The close interaction between the universities is also evident in their scientific cooperation, with scientists from both universities serving on the editorial boards of scientific journals at USUE and BSEU. Nina Agabekova, doctor of economics, professor at the BSEU Department of Statistics, is a member of the editorial board of the USUE journal Digital Models and Solutions. Professor Yakov Silin, USUE rector, enters the editorial board of Belarusian Economic Journal.

“Together with universities of the Republic of Belarus, we are systematically and consistently developing publication activity. I would like to note that over the past few years, over 50 scholarly articles prepared by USUE teachers and Belarusian teachers have been published,” USUE rector Yakov Silin said.

Today, USUE actively cooperates with Belarusian universities. There are eleven agreements finalized by USUE.

 The active participation of Belarusian students in the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum confirms successful cooperation: over the past three years, more than three thousand representatives of the Republic of Belarus took part in the EEYF events.
