Visiting professor
Vice-Rector for Extended Education and Career Guidance Elena Knyazeva and Director of the Extended Education Institute Elina Zakirova were awarded the titles of visiting professors of Tashkent Institute of Finance. They announced this decision today at the international conference “Transformation of business processes in the financial, industrial and agricultural sectors in the context of digitalization of economy and financial security.”
“The tasks of many universities in the country and abroad are to educate specialists who in the near future will take positions in major enterprises and government agencies. They will have to make responsible decisions that must comply with modern trends. Digitalization is one of them. Therefore, issues related to the technological transition in economy and financial security are relevant in Russia, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan,” USUE Rector Yakov Silin said.
The Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk Region Vyacheslav Yarin, Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Yekaterinburg Zafar Sayidzoda, representatives of Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, Anadolu University, Ege University, Bahçeşehir University, Tashkent Institute of Finance and teachers of USUE took part in the exchange of views. For example, the head of the USUE Department of Finance, Money Circulation and Credit, Larisa Yuzvovich focused on the fact that digital technologies contributed to the development of banking services in any country: “In the modern world, digitalization is becoming an integral driver of financial market development. Through introducing innovations in everyday processes, new economic products and services appear that are safer for the consumer. Using digital technologies implies a fundamental change in the basic formation principles of any financial instrument. This makes business efficiency increase.”

TFI Rector Tulkin Teshabaev thanked the employees of Ural State University of Economics for fruitful cooperation. According to Tulkin Zakirovich, a significant contribution to the development of partnerships was made by USUE Vice-Rector for Extended Education and Career Guidance Elena Knyazeva and Director of the USUE Extended Education Institute Elina Zakirova. In February, they delivered lectures, held seminars and practical classes with TFI students. The TFI Academic Board awarded them the honorary title of visiting professors.
