TO THE ATTENTION OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Foreign citizens can cross the Russian border ONLY THROUGH AIR CHECKPOINTS. Entry into the Russian Federation is allowed for citizens of Great Britain, Tanzania, Turkey, Switzerland, Egypt, Maldives, United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Korea, Cuba, Serbia, Japan, Seychelles, Ethiopia, Vietnam, India, Qatar, Finland, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Greece, and Singapore (Directive No. 635-r of the Government of Russia of March 16, 2020 "On temporary restrictions of entry of foreign citizens and stateless persons to the territory of Russian Federation and temporary suspension of visas and invitations processing and issuance ").
The list of countries will be added. Students wishing to come to continue their studies by personal attendance should inform the employees of the USUE International Cooperation Office on the date, time, and checkpoint of their arrival at least 10 days before it by phone: +7 992 334 89 81.
Exact details about the possible period of entry will appear on the USUE website in the coming days. As of now, the University is preparing all necessary documents for submitting lists of international students who are abroad, to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for approval of their entry to Russia.
Currently, there are about two hundred USUE international students on distance learning.
To prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, the University administration strongly recommends changing the training format only for graduate students of bachelor's and master's degrees. For the rest of students, it is desirable to stay in their home countries at a distance learning.
