Work has begun on creating a modern park near the Ural State University of Economics at the intersection of 8 Marta and Kuibysheva Streets. The area near the university has already been fenced off, and construction equipment is working on the site.

As reported by the USUE Property Complex Development Department, the improvement plan includes replacing sidewalks and asphalt pavement, installing benches for rest in front of the main entrance to USUE and near the metro station, lighting the fir trees and the monument to Pyotr Stolypin. Bicycle paths and green spaces will appear: spruce, pine, juniper, apple, willow, spirea. Automatic watering will be installed.

The first stage includes reconstruction along 8 Marta Street. The planned completion date is September 2025. In general, the completion of work on the implementation of the entire project is planned for the end of 2026.

The improvement project was developed taking into account all modern requirements for the urban environment. It is aimed at creating a comfortable territory that meets the needs of students, university staff and residents of Yekaterinburg. Particular attention is paid to the natural, architectural, environmental and socio-cultural aspects of the territory's development.
Financing of the project and implementation of works on improvement of the USUE square are organized at the expense of small and medium-sized businesses of the Sverdlovsk region
