Again among the leaders!
The Free Economic Society of Russia summed up the results of the 8th All-Russian Economic Dictation. They recognized the regional site of USUE as one of the best based on the results of 1,345 sites of the event. This year, over 7 thousand participants tested their knowledge of economics within the walls of the university.
On the day of the Economic Dictation, 15 October 2024, in the Sverdlovsk region, 10,197 persons took part in the event. This is an absolute record in the entire history of Economic Dictation held in the region. Every participant received certificates, and those with 90 or more points received winners’ diplomas. The best result among USUE students was 94 points.
The Economic Dictation was written in all regions of Russia, the CIS countries, as well as in Mongolia, Turkey, Syria, China and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. There were 1,345 sites organized, and it was also possible to test one’s knowledge online. The total number of participants was 392,456 persons, which is an absolute record in the entire history of the event.
The results of the Economic Dictation allow scientists to judge upon the level of economic literacy and economic activity of the population of the country and different regions of Russia.The awarding ceremony for the heads of Economic Dictation sites will take place as part of the All-Russian Economic Assembly on Economist Day, November 11, in Moscow.
