The University hosted the VIII All-Russia Congress of the Association of International Students of Russia, the IV Festival of Cultures “Around the World in 7 Days” and an educational session for HR directors of foreign and Russian companies “Innovative approaches to personnel management in the context of economy digitalization.”
The VIII All - Russia Congress of the Association of International Students of Russia was held on October 16. Representatives of 30 state universities in Russia attended the event. This year, the AIS congress aimed to attract attention of public authorities and educational institutions of Russia to the existing problems of foreign students of Russia: their adaptation and protection of rights and interests.
Immediately after the conference, the University launched the IV Festival of Cultures “Around the World in 7 Days” - a unique event that allows making a trip around the world without leaving USEU and enjoying the culture of various nations of the world. This year, more than 200 representatives from 30 countries of the world took part in it.
Within the framework of the festival, master classes in cooking Bashkir, Uzbek and Turkish dishes were presented, including a workshop of the Turkish chef Aina Yasina, the creator of the Doner - Durum cafe in Yekaterinburg.
Another significant event with the participation of foreign experts was the educational session for HR directors “Innovative approaches to personnel management in the context of economy digitalization.” The events of the educational session were held from October 16 to October 18. The aim of the project was to train foreign and Russian HR specialists and to facilitate the employment of foreign students at enterprises in their homeland.
