YOU ARE COOL! I WILL ENTER YOUR UNIVERSITY! OPEN DAY HELD OFFLINE AT USUE

March 27, several hundred applicants and their parents from Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, and Kurgan regions, Khanty-Mansi, and Yamalo-Nenets autonomous districts visited Ural State University of Economics. The Open Day at USUE took place offline with a live broadcast on the YouTube channel, which was watched by Crimean school leavers.

The Open Day began at the House of Culture, where there were the stands of USUE institutes and the Regional Center for Financial Literacy of the Sverdlovsk Region. In the mirror hall of the House of Culture, children were offered to undergo vocational guidance testing, which results could help decide on a future specialty. The guests could participate in different contests and receive advice on legal and financial literacy.

Teachers, heads of departments, directors of institutes, and vice-rectors greeted all those present. USUE rector Yakov Silin made a presentation of the University, told about its structure, areas of training, forms of education, and opportunities for students to seek self-fulfilling in research, creative activities, and sports.

He also spoke about the international activities of the University (more than 1,700 students from 60 countries of the world study at USUE). This diversity of cultures helps students build good friendships and professional contacts abroad.
 
“This year I am graduating from the Ural Regional College in Chelyabinsk and I plan to enter USUE. I learned a lot about this University in media, studied its website, and did not even look for other options. Today I came to the Open Day, and the impressions of the University surpassed my expectations. I am interested in Business Analytics and Finance,” Anna Sergeicheva said.

The event continued on the 2nd floor in the lobby of the USUE main academic building with the presentation of training programs of the Institute of Continuing and Distance Education, Master's degree courses, and USUE College took place.

One applicant, who came to the Open Day at the USUE Institute of Continuous and Distance Education, was so impressed that he exclaimed, “You are cool! I will enter your University!"
