XII EEYF is glad to welcome foreign ambassadresses!

The XII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum "Russia and the World in New Realities: Changing World Economic Relations" will be attended by five representatives of the fair sex from among foreign ambassadors. The role of women in science, politics and economics is very high, their voice is becoming more audible every year, and therefore it is nice to know that the ambassadresses paid their attention to EEYF.

 

One of the distinguished guests of the XII EEYF will be the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sri Lanka Ms. Janitha Abeywickrema Liyanage. Ms. Liyanage is not only a politician, but also a scientist in the field of bioinorganic chemistry and zoology, the author of two monographs, three books and manuals, more than forty articles in peer-reviewed journals, and a co-author of two books published by reputable publishing houses. Professor J.A. Liyanage received more than twenty national and foreign research grants, recorded four patents, and was a speaker at more than 180 conferences.  She joined the current position in October 2021.

 

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ms. María Luisa Ramos Urzagaste will represent the Plurinational State of Bolivia at XII EEYF. Ms. Ramos was educated in the USSR: she entered the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University at the Faculty of Agriculture, from which she graduated in 1991 with a degree in zootechnics. Subsequently, she spoke very warmly about the years of study, saying that this was her first experience of "people's diplomacy". She has been working in this position for the second time after a short break. Last year she has been actively establishing international cooperation.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Costa Rica Ms. María Lilliam Rodríguez Jiménez graduated with a Master's Degree in Diplomacy from the Faculty of Law at the Foreign Service Institute “Manuel Maria de Peralta” of the University of Costa Rica. She has extensive experience in the field of international relations of her state with Ecuador, Norway, Japan, and since July 2019 - with Russia.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Gabonese Republic Ms. Johanna Rose Mamiaka has one of the longest work experience in Russia. She actively assists businessmen interested in starting a business in Gabon, a stable and wealthy African country. By the way, Ms. Mamiaka actively supports the involvement of women in political life and work of government agencies.

The Attaché of the Central African Republic Ms. Panje Prudence Eleanor will also honor the Forum with her presence and take part in events both at the International Exhibition Center Ekaterinburg-EXPO and at Ural State University of Economics.

The participation of diplomatic officials is an honor for the Forum and a great opportunity for participants to gain experience in international dialogue. Every year, within the framework of the EEYF, a roundtable "Dialogue on equal terms" is held, where ambassadors, students and young scientists discuss hot issues of the world economy, politics, and social sphere.
