Yakov Silin has headed the Ural branch of the International Union of Economists

April 2, 2018, in St. Petersburg, the annual 27th meeting of members of the International Union of Economists took place.

At the meeting of the International Union of Economists, G. Popov announced his resignation from the IUE president and proposed to elect S.D. Bodrunov the President of the International Union of Economists.

Thus, the President of VEO of Russia, Sergei Bodrunov was unanimously elected the President of the International Union of Economists for a term of 5 years.

In addition, the meeting approved a restated Charter of the IUE, elected a new IUE Presidium consisting of 27 members and an IUE Audit Commission consisting of 11 persons for a period of five years.

At the last meeting, the following provisions regulating the IUE organization activities were approved: "Regulations on Members", "Regulations on the IUE Presidium", "Regulations on the IUE Coordination Council," “Regulations on the IUE Administration", "Regulations on IUE Meeting", and "Regulations on IUE Representative Offices".

At the end of the Meeting, the IUE Presidium elected the IUE Coordination Council consisting of 27 members.

In accordance with the Regulation "On IUE Branches”, it was decided to establish the following unincorporated IUE branches:

- IUE Moscow Branch (headed by A. Martynenko);

- IUE Saint Petersburg Branch (headed by - D. Drandin );

- IUE Nizhegorodsky Branch (headed by - P. Redko);

- IUE Ural Branch (headed by – Ya.   Silin);

- IUE Tambov Branch (headed by - А. Sedykh).
