Well deserved lead
Based on the results of the 2022-2023 academic year, USUE takes the 197-204 position in the aggregate ranking, which is higher than the results of 2022 (220-223 position). The improvement in positions occurred in five categories: Education, Brand, Research, Social Environment, and Cooperation.
For the sixth year, the Interfax Information Group includes Ural State University of Economics in its annual ranking of universities. Higher education institutions are evaluated by the quality of education, the availability of research and developments, as well as the quality of communications between the academic community, business and mass audiences.
In the Education category, USUE entered the Top-100 universities in Russia, having taken 77th place. Compared to last year, the university rose to 31 line (in 2022, USUE took 108th place). In the Brand category, the university took 110th place in Russia (in 2022 - 127-133 position) and 3rd position in the Sverdlovsk region.
In the Research category, the university moved from 293-294 to 202-205 group; in the Social Environment category it moved up by 28 lines and entered the 276-278 position in Russia (in 2022 – 303rd place). According to the Cooperation criteria, USUE improved its position and became the second-best university in the region.
In 2023, the National University Ranking increased the list of participants: it evaluated the performance of 368 universities, institutes and research centers of the Russian Federation, which is 10 participants more than last year.
