We invite you to the International Forum "Nuremberg, Tokyo, Khabarovsk: world practices in condemning Nazism, extremism, terrorism and inciting ethnic hatred" from October 26 to 28 at USUE. As part of the forum, a historical reconstruction of the Nuremberg Trials will take place, and USUE will show how the civilized world condemned Nazism.

Few are well acquainted with the topic of international tribunals, at which decisions significant for the entire civilized world were made against Nazi, extremist leaders, terrorists of the Second World War. It is especially important to fill this gap in the current political environment.

The forum "Nuremberg, Tokyo, Khabarovsk: world practices in condemning extremism, terrorism and inciting ethnic hatred" was organized by the Ural State University of Economics with the support of #RosmolodezhGrants.

The forum is attended by representatives of the scientific community, experts in the field of countering the ideology of extremism, representatives of state authorities, young scientists, students. Representatives of international organizations, including those from the UN System, will take part in an open dialogue with young people.

The unique exhibition will feature archival documents dedicated to the Nuremberg, Tokyo and Khabarovsk Tribunals, for example, the work of TASS military photojournalist Yevgeny Khaldei.

The culmination of the forum will be a historical re-enactment of the court session of the Nuremberg Trial with the participation of students and teachers. The Nuremberg trials became the "court of history" because the main criminals of the Nazi regime appeared before the International Military Tribunal - the political and military elite, the authors of the ideology, and not just ordinary performers, as happened in the past. The venue of the process - the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg - is symbolic, since it was Nuremberg that was called the "city of congresses of the Reich party." In addition, the Palace of Justice was connected by an underground passage to the prison where the accused were kept.

Also, the participation of representatives of the authorities of the Russian Federation is planned in the events of the forum: the State Duma, the Prosecutor General's Office, as well as historians, experts, prominent public figures of the Russian Federation and foreign states.
