Recently, the Center for Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences conducted an important study on the formation of new consumer habits among Russians under the crisis. Now, in the post-crisis period, it seems important to discuss the economic practices of the crisis. According to the survey, 53% of Russians said that the situation in the country is «tense, critical.» Should this assessment cause concern? Can this figure increase and in what connection? One of the most serious consequences of the crisis was the deterioration of human resources, that is, the health of the nation. How much will this situation affect the well-being of the country in future? In spring 2017, 80% of Russians noted that the crisis had adjusted their consumption patterns. Are new consumer habits a positive or negative trend?
