Director of the USUE Institute of Finance and Law Maxim Maramygin about the law and legal status of self-employed citizens

The State Duma passed a law on the legal status of self-employed citizens.  Changes will allow Russians to engage in certain types of entrepreneurial activity without state registration as an individual entrepreneur.

Amendments to the Civil Code have passed through third reading.  However, the exact list of activities has not yet been determined: it should be approved by the government.  Doctor of Economic Sciences Maxim Maramygin believes that the legal status of the self-employed had to be determined.  However, in his opinion, it is too early to draw conclusions about the benefits of this law - at least one should see a list of activities.
