The Institute of Continuing Education of Ural State University of Economics began simultaneous implementation of several educational programs: Management of State and Municipal Procurement, Contract System in the Field of Procurement of Goods, Works, and Services, and An Expert in Procurement.

The company "Scientific Digital Library" (eLIBRARY) updated the science information on Russian scientific journals at the Russian Research Citation Index over 2019. All four scientific journals of Ural State University of Economics - "Journal of New Economy", "Upravlenets", "Индустрия питания | Food Industry" and "e-FORUM" - have shown improvement of indicators by results of 2019.

Within the framework of the patriotic project "Heroes Are among Us", the freshers of Ural State University of Economics met with the Hero of the Russian Federation, Colonel of the RF Armed Forces, an adviser to the USUE rector for patriotic education Sergei Voronin.

The representatives of regional branches of the Russian Union of Travel Industry from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Podolsk, Ramenskoye, Serpukhov, Izhevsk, Kaliningrad, Tyumen, and Yaroslavl, from the cities of Karelia, Crimea, and Altai met at a regional meeting of the tourist industry to discuss the prospects for their business.
