USUE published a collection of articles "Ural in the Fate of the Romanovs" delivered at the All-Russia Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the execution of the royal family.

V all-Russia Sports Olympiad among foreign students of Russian universities continues. Yesterday, the USUE Rector Yakov Silin, Vice-Rector for social work Roman Krasnov, and president of the Association of International Students in Russia Adu Yaw Nikez visited the sports grounds of the University. The distinguished guests attended the events within the framework of the Olympiad, cheered for its participants and supported athletes during the competitions.

A press conference dedicated to the opening of the All-Russia Sports Olympiad among foreign students of Russian universities was held at DIVS(Palace of Team Sports). The Olympiad is held annually and every time in different cities. Moscow, Astrakhan, Orel and Ivanovo have already received guests from universities from all over the country. Today sportsmen from 65 countries gathered at Ural State University of Economics and their flags opened a sports festival.

Today the Palace of Team Sports hosted an opening ceremony of the All-Russia Sports Olympiad among foreign students of Russian universities.

A lecture on the basics of logistics in the company " Coca-Cola " was held for USUE second-year students majoring in Logistics .

May 3, second-year students of the USUE Department of Marketing and International Management majoring in Management (Advertising Management and International Management specialties) of RM-16, MM-16-1, and MM-16-2 groups became participants in the master class "Possibilities of Library Information Resources in Marketing Research of the Market" delivered by specialists of the Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library named after V.G. Belinsky.

April 2, 2018, St. Petersburg hosted the 4th Saint Petersburg International Economic Congress (SPEC-2018).

The scientific and practical conference devoted to this topic was held at USUE on April 27, 2018. Its organizers were the USUE Department of Physics and Chemistry and the RSVPU Department of Mathematical and Natural Science Disciplines. The conference topic attracted considerable interest: more than 50 young scientists from different regions and cities of our country (Tomsk, Tyumen, Samara, Voronezh, and others) submitted their applications and materials, as well as from the countries of the near abroad: Belarus and Kazakhstan (11 participants). Therefore, declared as All-Russia, the conference became international.

May 3, 2018 the conference hall of the DIVS (Palace of Team Sports) will host a press conference dedicated to the opening of the All-Russia Olympiad among foreign students of Russian universities.

The USUE staff together with the employees of large industrial, cultural and transport enterprises, educational institutions, and housing and communal services went to the festive procession dedicated to May 1.

April 23, 2018, the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a seminar "Foreign Economic Activity of SMEs: Experience and Problems", held with the support of the Yekaterinburg City Administration.

April 26, a meeting of the Eurasian Research Institute of Man (ENIICH) was held, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Karl Marx, one of the talented thinkers who significantly influenced the course of social progress. The topic of the meeting was “Karl Marx: Forever Thinker of Transformations ".

April 18, 2018, Ural Law Institute of MIA of Russia hosted an international scientific and practical conference of cadets, trainees, students and adjuncts "Recent Problems of Law Enforcement Activities of Bodies of Internal Affairs".

Continuing a good tradition to meet with Heroes of the Russian Federation, on April 25, USUE students had a chance to personally communicate with Alexander Cherepanov who participated in the Chechen war as an airborne officer.

April 25, bachelor’s students of GMU-16 group of the Institute of Continuing Education under the guidance of Olga Ergunova, associate professor at the Department of Regional and Municipal Economics and Management, participated in the master class of Olga Franz, Ph.D. , head of the Ural Institute of System Analysis and Social Design.

April 24, Yekaterinburg Administration with the support of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a roundtable "Open Governance: Assessment of Regulatory Impact, Dialogue between Business and Government and Reduction of Administrative Barriers."

The international roundtable "Social Problems of Youth in the Eurasia Space: Ways and Solutions" was held on April 20 at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Khujand. Its initiators were the international student youth movement "Eurasian Express: Russia - Tajikistan - Kazakhstan " and Eurasian Commonwealth Foundation. April 24-25, 2018, the USUE Office for Interaction with Employers organized the refresher courses "Forming Communicative Competence for Interaction with Disabled People ". At the courses, USUE staff learned to interact with people who have health restrictions and disabilities. Lectures and trainings were conducted by inclusion specialists of the Accessible Environment Center, Sverdlovsk Regional Special Library for the Blind, All-Russia Society of the Deaf, and psychologists. Masters of inclusion told how to build a dialogue with people who are in a wheelchair, deaf, blind or suffering from a mental illness.

The interregional organization of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast, VEO of Russia and Ural Branch of VEO of Russia, as well as St. Petersburg State University and Ural State University of Economics issued a joint monograph "New Industrialization of Russia: Strategic Priorities of the Country and Possibilities of Urals".

The head of the selection point Stanislav Pivovarov told the students about the possibility of admission to the contract service instead of conscription service . Students learned about the places and conditions of service, earnings, benefits, and military mortgage.

Ural State University of Economics, within the project "Heroes Among Us", hosted a meeting with Chief of the Electronic Warfare Service at the headquarters of the Central Military District, Major-General Sergei Portnykh. Professor Italo Trevizan, Department of Economics and Management, University of Trento, a member of the Management Committee of the international program “European Master in Business Studies” and academic director of the Joint Program European Master in Comparative Local Development, visited IX Eurasian Economic Youth Forum as an expert and spoke about the prospects for cooperation between the University of Trento and USUE .

April 19, at 12th international scientific and practical conference "Methods and Technology of Food Production" (section "Ecology and safety of technological processes") held at Mogilev State University of Food Technologies (Republic of Belarus), Rosa Timakova, Ph.D., USUE associate professor delivered a report "Radiation Technologies - New Opportunities for Ensuring Food Security".

The registration of participants for the forum "Terra Scientia” has started. From June 27 to August 12, the forum will receive about six thousand participants and six thematic sessions will take place.

Today, April 19, the Congress of High School Students held within the framework of IX Eurasian Economic Youth Forum ended with a grandiose event - Volunteer Movement Festival "A Volunteer's Way is the Road of Goodness!".

The third day of IX Eurasian Economic Youth Forum was final. On this day, the congresses of the forum summed up the results, awarded winners and runners-up. At the awards ceremony of the Congress of Financiers, more than 50 diplomas and commemorative tokens of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum were presented.

The most pleasant and bright event for young participants of EEYF is traditionally the ceremony of awarding the winners and runners-up. This year, the Congress of Service Technologies gathered a record number of participants and surprised the organizers by the scale of its territorial coverage. The jury was not easy to make the choice: every year, more and more talented students come to the forum.

On the third day of EEYF, the international youth scientific conference "Regulatory Impact Assessment: Strategic Partnership of Authorities, Businesses, and NGOs" was held.

In the residence of the Governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast, an official reception of VIP guests of IX EEYF took place. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Madagascar to Russia Eloi Alfonse Maxim Duvu , Iraq's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia Haidar Mansour Hadi, Consul of Peru in Russia Fernando Tapia Fern?ndez-Baca, High Commissioner of the Eurasian Economic Cooperation Organization Aniset Gabriel Kochofa, and president of the Association of International Students in Russia Yaw Adu Nikez .

During the international day within EEYF held with the participation of ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary and the AIS Directorate, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the University of the Thailand Chamber of Commerce and Ural State University of Economics.
